Aug 5th, 2008 New Gameserver release
Publishing the last changes to the gameserver. These changes were being incorporated for Cipher4.

Together with friends, we created Pet-Con, a new forum for young researchers and students in the area in privacy enhancing techniques.

May 2nd, 2007 Cipher 3 organization finally starts

We are sorry for being a little bit late, but finally we found the time to start with organizing the CIPHER 3 contest. You can find all necessary information on this dedicated website.

Apr 22nd, 2007 2nd place!

Last friday we particpated on the USFCTF 2007 and scored second place :) Even despite that we only decided to participate a couple of days earlier. But we also teamed up with the cool guys from RU Bochum and had a very chilling and relaxing event.

Hereby I publish the last changes to the gameserver made for the CTF at the 23c3. Due to technical problems, we weren't able to deploy the full range of things planned, so you might wonder what some of the changes are good for - don't worry, you'll find out soon.

Oct 24th, 2006 NRW-Forschungstag IT-Sicherheit

I have generalized the former Orion page and created a new tools page. There you can find several small tools that I've come across, and that I consider to be of general interest.

Aug 18th, 2006 New CTF planned

There will be a CTF at 23C3 in Berlin. Although this will be for local participation only, you chould better check your time table, to be there: this one will be harder, meaner, more exciting and there will be prizes to win. Stay tuned for more info.

July 18th, 2006 New Gameserver release

The gameserver has undergone major changes. Everyone is invited to test, modify, debug, enhance, patch and/or break it.

December 28th, 2005 22c3-Contest is over

Although we only had less than a month of time, we successfuly hosted a CTF at the 22C3, Private Investigations. More informations are given here.

December 10th, 2005 We won!

We won the latest UCSB CTF! This was one of the most challenging and difficult CTF ever and we very much enjoyed this experience. Surprisingly, the team from Vienna finished second and proved to be a tough competitor. But again, the top three teams are from Europe ;-)

December 7th, 2005 A new CTF is planned

I'll try to organize a Capture-the-Flag challenge at the 22c3 in Berlin at Dec 27th/28th 2005.
On this occation I also updated the Gameserver.
